Questions

Will my phone work with an eSIM?

Most iPhones from the XS and XR on, Galaxy S20 and newer, and Pixel 4 and newer support eSIM. The phone must be carrier-unlocked. You can check yours in a few seconds on our phone check page.

When should I install it?

At home on Wi-Fi, before you leave. Your plan days start when the eSIM first connects at your destination, not when you install it.

Do I keep my regular number?

Yes. The eSIM is added as a second line, so your usual SIM stays in the phone. Turn data roaming off on your regular line to avoid carrier charges.

Is this a phone number?

No. These are data plans for maps, messages, rides and browsing. Calls and texts over the internet work through your usual apps.

What if I run out of data?

You can add more data to the same eSIM without installing anything new.
